Greed and class discrimination threaten the newly formed symbiotic relationship between the wealthy Park family and the destitute Kim clan. Reviewers have said Parasite is an urgent, brilliantly layered look at timely social themes, showing how economic inequality brings out the worst in everyone, rich and poor alike.
Suspenseful drama, dark comedy, and an ingenious script make this a rollercoaster of a ride. As one particular reviewer said, “It would be a shame if anyone fails to watch this magnificent movie just because it’s in a foreign language”.
