Lord-Lieutenant James Saunders Watson visited Wilbarston Village Hall this week to present Rosalind Willatts with her British Empire Medal. Andrew Deacon (Chairman of Wilbarston Parish Council) was at the Hall to welcome our guests. A large number of villagers also gathered at the Hall to join in with the celebrations.
John Hooper (Chairman of Wilbarston Village Hall Management Committee) reflected on the fact that it had been almost 50 years since James Saunders Watson’s father had officially open the Hall.
